Because side effects are dose-dependent, any excessive amount of prednisolone can be expected to increase the likelihood and severity of side effects.
Prednisolone may cause problems in people with certain pre-existing medical conditions. For some people, prednisolone can never be given if they have :. Although other people with pre-existing conditions can take prednisolone, doses may need adjusting or they may need to be monitored for problems.
